Mental Health in a Global Pandemic

The global COVID pandemic has created rupture and fragmentation in the community on many levels, whether it is within an individual, a family or the broader community.

These Community Forums are committed to being a platform that will promote community cohesion, providing information and connectedness as we journey together in these unprecedented times.

You are welcome to attend, either in person or remotely, all Forums or the one/s that are of particular interest to you.

Navigating the Mental Health System - for GPs and Clinicians

We are delighted to announce the launch of the 2022 Community Mental Health Forums, a series of forums designed to promote community wellbeing and cohesion. These are funded by a grant from Westgate Neighbour Fund, without which, these would not be possible.

The series of community forums will promote wellbeing and connection for community members; and foster community and professional connections for health professionals working in the western region of Melbourne.

There are five forums in total.

The first forum on Thursday 3 March at 6:30pm, is for GPs, clinicians and anyone working in the mental health space. The invitation in the link below, includes registration details. We encourage members to share the invitation with their networks, as any clinician who is interested in understanding more about navigating the mental health system, will benefit from this session.  This session will be available in person and online.

Registration is essential and registrations are filling up fast. We would encourage all members to forward this invitation as they see fit. Registration is free.
